Gingersnaps
Gingersnap Cookies are a fall favorite that carries us through the holidays! This easy to make cookie has only a few ingredients and is so easy to make any way you like them - chewy, a little spicy, sweet, and will keep you warm as the temperature drops!

Ingredients:

227 g

Authentic Foods Vanilla Cake Mix

2 TSP

Ground Ginger

1.5 TSP

Ground Cinnamon

33 g

Butter, softened

1

Egg

13 g

Water

2 TBSP

Black Strap Molasses, unsulphured

Directions:

  1. In a bowl or a stand mixer, mix together half of a Vanilla Cake Mix, ground ginger, and cinnamon.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, water, and molasses together and set aside.
  3. On low speed using the paddle, or by hand with a spatula, work the soft butter into the dry mixture. Then add the egg mixture to that. Continue mixing until a soft dough has formed.
  4. Scoop into 1/2 TBSP portions onto a cookie sheet and press down to form disks.
  5. Bake 325F convection or 350F for 10 minutes for soft cookies or up to 15 minutes for crisp ones. Allow to cool and enjoy!
