Ingredients:

Steve’s GF Flour Blend |
1 Cup 5 TBSP |
Water |
1 TBSP |
Vegetable Shortening |
7 g (1 Packet) |
Instant Fast Acting Yeast |
Directions:
- Mix 260 g of Steve’s GF Bread Flour with the yeast and vegetable shortening.
- Add the water and mix until a dough is smooth. We recommend using an electric stand mixer for this with a dough hook, but it can also be done by hand.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal balls.
- On a lightly floured surface, take each ball, flatten it and roll it into the shape of a hot dog bun.
- Place each bun on a cookie sheet and cover with a damp cloth. Allow the buns to proof for about 30-45 minutes. While the buns are proofing, preheat the oven to 450 F.
- When the buns have doubled to tripled in size uncover them and place them in the oven. Bake for approximately 40 minutes, until golden brown!
