Ingredients:
2 cups brown sugar packed
2/3 cup butter
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon Authentic Foods Vanilla Powder
1 1/2 cups Authentic Foods Multi-Blend Flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips (Optional)
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (Optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Set aside.
In a medium sauce pan, combine brown sugar and butter over medium heat until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth throughout. Pour this brown sugar mixture into a large mixing bowl. Beat the eggs. Stir them into the brown sugar mixture a little bit at a time. In a separate bowl, combine Authentic Foods Vanilla Powder, Authentic Foods Multi-Blend Flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix until even throughout. Add this mixture to the brown sugar mixture and mix until the dry mixture has been completely combined into the brown sugar mixture. Then spread the batter into the greased pan. If you would like, sprinkle the chocolate chips and the nuts over the blondies and pat them slightly into the batter. Bake the blondies in the oven for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick or utensil comes out clean near the center. Cut into bars.
