Ingredients:

600g

Authentic Foods Steve’s GF Cake Flour Blend

100 g

Granulated Sugar

1 TBSP

Salt

5 TBSP

Baking Powder

120 g

Melted butter

180 g

Vegetable Oil

750 g

Buttermilk

6 large

Eggs

Directions:

  1. Set the Belgian waffle maker to 5.5*.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together Authentic Foods Steve’s GF Cake Flour Blend, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, oil, melted butter and buttermilk together.
  4. Whisk the wet ingredients into the dry and stir to combine, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Using an ice cream scoop or measuring cup, pour a little more than a cup into the waffle iron. Allow the waffle to cook until golden.

Note: The higher the setting the darker and crispier the waffle will be. We found that 5.5 works well, but this may vary by waffle maker.
