Graham Crackers
Now, you can finally have graham crackers again that taste just like the Real McCoy!

Servings: 24 - 30 graham crackers

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups Authentic Foods Multi-Blend Flour

1/3 cup Authentic Foods White Corn Flour

2/3 cup dark brown sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon Authentic Foods Vanilla Powder

6 tablespoon unsalted butter

3 ounces by volume of honey or molasses

3 ounces milk

Directions:

Using an electric mixer at low speed, combine AuthenticFoods Multi-Blend Flour, Authentic Foods White Corn Flour, dark brown sugar,baking powder, kosher salt, ground cinnamon and Authentic Foods Vanilla Powderuntil fully combined.  At medium speedfor about 2 minutes, mix in the butter until the mixture has a course crumbconsistency.  Then add the milk and honeyor molasses until fully combined.  Themixture should be full of large crumbs that clump together when molded.

 

Combine all the crumbs together to form a disc.  Place the dough on a plate and cover withplastic wrap.  Then place the plate inthe refrigerator for 30 minutes.

 

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.  Place the dough on a lightly floured silpator on a large piece of parchment paper that won’t move.  Using a rolling pin, roll the dough out untilit is about 1/8 inch thick.  Cut 2 inchsquare pieces using a knife or pizza cutter, poke holes in the square pieceswith a fork and place the square pieces on a large cookie sheet pan using aspatula.  You may have to roll the doughout a couple times to cut the excess dough into squares.  Bake the square pieces in the oven for 15 -20 minutes or until the sides begin to brown slightly.  Serve by themselves as a snack or withmarshmallows and chocolate for smores!
